Security at myDesk
The short version: your desk is private to your firm, client money is visible only where you switch it on, and the numbers that could move money are never shown to clients.
Who runs myDesk
myDesk is run by a single human owner — not a data broker, not an ad network. If you have a question about your data, you write to a person:
Where your data lives
The site is hosted on Vercel. Documents and records are stored in a Postgres database on Neon, in the United States. Your matters, documents and ledgers are scoped to your firm: no other firm's user can read them, and we don't sell or share data.
Account and routing numbers
Bank account and routing numbers are stored for the firm's own bookkeeping and are visible only to the firm's own users. They are never shown in the client portal — the client's view selects around them entirely.
Who can sign in
Firm users sign in with their own account. Clients get a private, single-use link you send them, and see only what you switched on: their matters, their invoices, their own trust statement if you choose. Nothing is shared by default.
